Boucherouite Rugs

Boucherouite rugs are Morocco's colorful rag rugs. Weavers make them from strips of recycled fabric, cotton, synthetics and leftover wool, knotted into bold blocks of color and playful patterns. Each one is a one-off, and many are small enough for a bedside, a hallway or a kids' room.

Because they are made from mixed textiles, Boucherouites are lighter than wool pile rugs and easy to move around. Spot-clean them gently and keep them out of strong direct sun to protect the colors.
