Azilal Rugs
Azilal rugs are woven in the High Atlas region around the town of Azilal. They usually start from a cream wool ground and carry bright, free-hand symbols in red, blue, saffron and pink. No two are alike: each weaver composes her own design as she goes, which gives these rugs their joyful, artistic character.
