Quiet, graphic and endlessly easy to live with. This flat-woven kilim lays fine black pinstripes across a calm ivory field, then frames the sides with sharp hand-woven zigzags and a speckled black-and-white border. The result is modern enough for a city loft and honest enough for a farmhouse.
Why you'll love it
- Gallery-clean neutrals – ivory and black pair with any palette, from warm oak to cool concrete.
- Low profile, high practicality – doors glide over it, chairs slide on it, and it rolls up for cleaning or travel.
- Woven by hand for you on a traditional loom in the Atlas Mountains, finished with natural knotted fringe.
Style it
Run it under a dining table, at the foot of a bed or in an entryway. Pair it with linen, black metal and natural wood for a calm Scandinavian-Moroccan look.

The heritage of the Moroccan kilim
A kilim (in Morocco often called hanbel) is a flat-woven rug with no pile: the coloured weft threads are packed tightly over the warp to form the design. Amazigh weavers across the Middle and High Atlas have made them for centuries as floor rugs, blankets, tent dividers and saddle covers.
The flat weave favours geometry: bands, stripes, diamonds, triangles and small symbols arranged in horizontal registers. Patterns are passed down from mother to daughter and vary from one tribe and valley to the next.
Light, reversible on many pieces and easy to move, the Moroccan kilim is ideal for dining rooms, hallways and busy family spaces.
